This way the philosopher Rousseau defined the landscape that you can enjoy from Superga Hill. Here, at 672 meters on the sea level,  rises the impressive Basilica di Superga, one of the symbols of Turin, also reachable by the typical XIX century tranvia, that  enters the Turin’s Hills Natural Park.  The Basilica was built in the XVIII century first half by Filippo Juvarra, after the French-Spanish siege of Turin in 1706. Inside the church are to admire the little Vow’s Chapel, the sculpture of the Madonna delle Grazie and the Cupola Juvarriana, from which we can see at 360° all the  Turin’s valley. The visit goes on through the marvelous Crypt that houses , among gold and colored marbles, one of the Savoy’s Family officials sepulchers.
