The Pietro Micca and 1706 Siege of Turin Museum has been inaugurated in 1961 and allows the visitor to discover the story of the French-Spanish siege of Turin in 1706.  During this episode the soldier Pietro Micca distinguished himself  for he sacrificed his life to block the French soldiers who penetrated in the subterranean galleries which extend themselves under the city.
